Seniors are among the most vulnerable to the Coronavirus and their well-being and safety is our top priority.
The Senior Aid for Food and Resources (SAFR) Program was authored by Fresno Councilmember Mike Karbassi along with Council Vice President Paul Caprioglio and Councilmember Luis Chavez, in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. The goal of the program is to provide essential resources to seniors while reducing their risk by limiting potential exposure to the virus. In partnership with Pardini’s catering and local food suppliers, seniors will be provided a weekly supply of groceries.
